Founded in 1995 by Marlaise & David, Gallery on the Bay is located in a building that was once the headquarters of a Steel Company, then a school, then a union hall in the 80's and 90's, and now the home to artists, writers, filmmakers, and musicians. Gallery on the Bay features the best local, regional and contemporary Canadian Art in a relaxing and congenial atmosphere.  Select pieces from our historical collection are also on display. Gallery on the Bay is also home to literary events co-sponsored by Bryan Prince Bookseller and 'a different drummer books', and musical evenings showcasing local talent.  Co-owner David Dawson is also a filmmaker and writer. DVD's of his films and copies of his published novels are also available at Gallery on the Bay.
